Police blend music and sports to welcome ISL fans, video goes viral The makers of the album hope that their song would reverberate in the stadium when millions of Blasters’ fans turn up in yellow to cheer the team next time.

That the police is not just a law enforcing machinery and that there is an artistic strain as well running across the system has been proved by a group of traffic police personnel in Kochi.

The ISL fans in the city can now swing to some music apart from enjoying an exciting football match, thanks to a team of Kochi traffic police personnel that came up with a musical album titled ‘Swagatham Kochi’ (Welcome Kochi). The video song is going viral on social media.

The song was conceived by a group of friends who work together in the traffic police department. The lyrics penned by AT Anilkumar, a traffic policeman, welcome football enthusiasts to Kochi to watch a thrilling ISL match.

Vijay Balan, also in the traffic department, has directed the video of the super hit song.

Gowri Lakshmi has rendered the song composed by Jayadas Gopal. The visuals are canned by cinematographer Jinesh Kuttappan.

The makers of the album hope that their song would reverberate in the stadium when millions of Blasters’ fans turn up in yellow to cheer the team next time.
