Pak Zarzamin

On a day when India’s social media users got engaged in an annoying show of patriotism, Indian Acapella band, Vox Chord, came up with a birthday gift for neighboring Pakistan, who celebrated their 70th birthday on August 14, by singing their national anthem ‘Pak Sarzamin.’

The video begins with the message, “This is our way of wishing you, Happy Birthday Pakistan’” and the band members are seen holding placards describing the national anthem of Pakistan as “a song about faith, pride, and grandeur, of power, progress and perfection.”

The musicians recite the Pak national anthem without the luxury of any instrumental accompaniment.

The heartwarming gesture of love, respect and companionship has received a big thumbs-up on social media and YouTube, and people, including Pakistanis, have responded positively with 'likes', ‘shares’ and ‘retweets.’
