1971 Beyond borders: what to expect from the Mohanlal starrer Poster of the movie

Mohanlal’s latest movie 1971: Beyond Borders has hit the silver screens on Friday. Directed by Major Ravi, the film will see Mohanlal in two roles.

Now, movie buffs are looking forward for 1971 Beyond Borders, waiting to see the Midas touch of box office king Mohanlal. Moreover, fans of both Mammootty and Mohanlal are eagerly waiting to see if Mohanlal's 1971 movie would break the opening day record of Mammootty's The Great Father.

1971 Beyond Borders is the fourth instalment of Major Mahadevan series. The first three instalments in the series were Keerthichakra, Kurukshetra, and Kandahar.

The big budget venture, also has Allu Sirish and Arunoday Singh in important roles.

Produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner Red Rose Creations, 1971: Beyond Borders has music composed by Siddharth Vipin, Najim Arshad and Rahul Subramanian with Gopi Sunder composing the BGM and the cinematography is handled by Sujith Vaassudev.

Reportedly, 1971 Beyond borders is set for a big release with 200 screens in Kerala. The film will be released in Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu simultaneously.

Plot: 1971 - Beyond Borders, a prequel to Kurukshetra, is based on the true events of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Mohanlal plays a double role, one as iconic Major Mahadevan and as his dad Colonel Sahadevan.
