Her rhythmic steps reflected overwhelming concern for the safety of women and the audience at Tagore theater were deeply touched. Actress Manju Warrier had dedicated this dance for her close friend and actress who was recently attacked in a moving car in Kochi.
“It was amazing to see how in spite of all hurdles in her (attacked actress) life, she faced everything with courage and has come back to work. This is something that we woman should learn from her. With this, I dedicate my performance for her. Not just her, it's for all the women out there who have fought all kinds of evil,'' said Manju Warrier before performing at Tagore theater, Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday.
The cultural event was held in association with the Swadeshbhimani Kesari award function. Malayala Manorama editorial director Thomas Jacob won the award.
