Post Priya 'storm' Aju Varghese makes epic request to composer Shaan Rahman 'Truly delighted with the response I get for the song Manikya malaraya Poovi,' Shaan says.

Musician Shaan Rahman is on cloud nine ever since his latest number 'Manikya Malaraaya Poovi' and its heart-warming visuals took the Internet by storm.

After his 'Jimikki Kammal,' the internationally viral song from Mohanlal-starrer 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' conquered millions of hearts, Shaan Rahman's composition for the movie 'Oru Adaar Love' is creating ripples across the globe.

If it was Sheryl Kadavan, a faculty with the Indian School of Commerce in Kochi, who shot to international stardom with 'Jimikki Kammal,' it is Priya Prakash Varrier who became darling of the social media with 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi'.

So the young comedian of Malayalam cinema Aju Verghese was tempted to text his and his long time friend Shaan an unusual request.

“I burst out laughing when I saw Aju's message. His sense of humor is matchless,” said Shaan Rahman laughing.

Aju's message read: 'hey, aren't you the one who produces international celebrities these days? Aliya, why don't you give me a chance to act in your next song sequence? Let me also gain international stardom,'

“There are people who congratulate and then there are people who say this. I am truly delighted with the response I get for the song 'Manikya malaraya Poovi,” Shaan Rahman told Onmanorama.
