Each Valentines' day boasts of roses, champagne and boxes full of chocolates. Seldom do we think of our dear ones who forget to live a life of their own. 2018's most lauded M'town superstar Jayasurya shared with Onmanorama, his moving and heart-touching message to society for this Valetines' day.

“Listen my fellow men, it is cruel to lock up women with multifaceted talents inside kitchens. They are individuals like you and me. The very first element of love is trust. If you trust your partner, it is your responsibility to help them conquer their skies,” said the actor.

Describing his love for his wife, famous designer-entreprenuer Saritha Jayasurya, the superstar admitted his lack of co-ordination and presence of mind when compared to Saritha. “Like most of the wives, my wife also multitasks between household chores, supervising children's studies, managing my finances and building her own empire of designing and business. Sometimes I get surprised by her skills to manage everything that's related to our family. I admit that, when compared to her, I am a complete failure in managing multiple areas,” Jayasurya said.

He asked the male-folk to step in to the shoes of women at their home and think in their point of view. “You might be a man full of passion, ambitions and opportunities to achieve them. Now, imagine yourself being denied the platforms to manifest your talents and getting locked up between the four walls of a kitchen! You can't call that cage 'love.'
