Dileep

Dubai: Dileep, who is out on bail after spending more than 80 days in jail in connection with the February 17 actress attack case, evoked a mixed response from the crowd while attending the inauguration of an outlet of 'Dhe Puttu,' a restaurant chain that he co-owns with director Nadhirshah, on Wednesday at Al Karama, here.

The inauguration was at 7 pm on Wednesday. The massive crowd gathered to see Dileep on the narrow streets near the hotel in Al Karama obstructed the free movement of traffic.

Dileep had taken special permission from the High Court to make the business trip as the court had ordered him not to travel outside India while granting bail.

Dhe Puttu

The restaurant, on the ground floor of Al Shama building behind Park Regis, Al Karama, was ready for opening earlier but it was put on hold after Dileep's arrest on July 10.
