Bhavana remembers the dark days of her life Actor Bhavana with father Balachandran

Malayalam actress Bhavana has had seen many ups and downs in her 15-year career in Mollywood. The popular face from Kerala braved all that. But it was the sudden and tragic demise of her father in 2015 that upended her life.

"My father passed away at the age of 58. He was not diagnosed with any serious illness. We couldn't never imagine him going to bed and never waking up,” Bhavana said.

bhavana-2 Bhavana says Naveen has been the strength of the family ever since her father passed away.

“We were waiting for my father to be back from the hospital but instead we received the bad news within 24 hours. It was really a whack on the head. My life turned upside down after that. Responsibilities piled. This month, it has been two years since my father died," she said.

Talking about her fiance, she said that Naveen's family had come to her house with the marriage proposal and fixed the wedding a month before her father's death. The actress said she was happy that at least that much could be done when her father was alive. "It can be said that Naveen has been the strength of our family since my father's death. Perhaps my mother and my elder brother love Naveen more than me," Bhavana said.

The wedding has been fixed in January. Bhavana said she and Naveen, a film producer, were friends for more than six years. A Hyderabad native, Naveen had produced Bhavana's third Telugu film. "Initially, we talked about films alone. Then we used to chat. My mother knew Naveen very well," she said.

"I had always wished for someone from the film industry as my my life partner. Those from within the industry can understand this life better than any outsider," Bhavana said in an interview to Manorama News.
