Kavya Madhavan seeks divine help in difficult times Kavya Madhavan (file photo)

Thaliparamba: Actress Kavya Madhavan and her family are on a temple-hopping spree ever since her husband, actor Dileep, was arrested for plotting an attack on an actress.

The actress, accompanied by her parents, brother and his wife, went to the Rajarajeswara Temple at Thaliparamba around 8 pm on Thursday. They offered a gold pot as offering in the name of Kavya and mother Shyamala, a native of Thaliparamba. Kavya preferred to stay back in a relative’s house at Thaliparamba though.

The family also visited the Sree Krishna Temple at Thrichambaram before returning to their flat at Kannur.

Kavya and her mother may be interrogated in connection with the attack and the conspiracy leading into it. Her garment business also came under the police scanner after the main accused in the case, Sunil Kumar aka ‘Pulsar’ Suni, mentioned “the shop in Kakkanad” in a letter he sent to Dileep from prison.

Dileep is accused of hiring Suni and mates to assault the actress and videotape her suffering. The police are searching for the mobile phone with which the criminals shot the torment and Kavya’s shop in Kakkanad is a possible target.

Under arrest since Monday, Dileep has been evading questions about the phone or its contents.

Kavya has remained incommunicado since the arrest. She even deactivated her Facebook profile briefly after she came in the cross-hairs of internet trolls.
