R.Selvaraj’s wife attacked

Neyyattinkara: Police here received a complaint that the UDF candidate R Selvaraj's wife Mary Valsala, had come under attack from unidentified miscreants.
This incident took place when she was going to the Aryoor Service Cooperative Bank, where she worked. A congress member Saji, who came to her rescue, was also attacked.
Both of them were admitted in the Parasala Taluk Hospital. Mary sustained injuries on her head and neck.
It has been alleged that though Selvaraj and his family had been receiving death threats, the police failed to provide protection for the political leader and his family.
