Interest free loan

Are you ready to start a self-employment venture to build your life if you get Rs 50,000? If so, the government will give you that much as loan. Not only that, since half of it is subsidy, you will have to repay only Rs 25,000.

Women will get interest-free loan to start a venture from the National Employment Service department. As per Saranya, a self-employment scheme, unemployed widows, women abandoned by husbands, legally divorced women, unmarried mothers from scheduled tribes, and single women past 30 years of age who have registered in employment exchanges in Kerala can utilise this facility.

An individual will be granted a maximum of Rs 50,000. Of this, up to a maximum of Rs 25,000 will be subsidy. Women aged between 18 and 55 whose annual family income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh can apply for it. Completed application with necessary documents must be submitted at the employment exchange. Those who are allotted loan will be given training to manage the venture. The loan given through district employment exchanges must be repaid through the respective exchanges.

Rs 1 lakh loan for self-employment

Are you someone who wants to start a small venture? If so, you will get a self-employment loan of Rs 1 lakh through employment exchange. Of this bank loan, Rs 20,000 (20 per cent) is government subsidy. But the applicant’s annual family income must be less than Rs 40,000 and personal monthly income must be below Rs 500.

Applicants with job-based technical education will get priority. The project submitted by the applicant must match his educational qualification. These loans, under the Kerala Self-employment Scheme for the Registered Unemployed (KESRU), are arranged by the labour department for the economically weaker sections. As per KESRU, men and women aged between 21 and 50 who have registered in employment exchanges can equally make use of this opportunity.
